Paradise Textiles recently presented its new pilot factory in Egypt, with several of our brand partners. The mill is currently operating at 35% capacity, as a platform for conducting product and process trials. This approach enables a seamless transition to the main production facility, once fully operational, by eliminating the need for repeated approval processes. The main factory will feature the same machinery as the pilot facility, and technical expertise developed during the pilot phase will transfer directly into full scale production.

Located near the Alex Apparels manufacturing hub, the new facility will bring fabric innovation closer to the needle, strengthening vertical integration, enabling faster development, supporting tighter technical collaboration, and delivering greater end-to-end supply chain transparency for brand partners.

Designed with sustainability at its core, the mill will deploy advanced lower impact production technologies and host the first installation of Regen®, the world’s first microfibre filtration system designed specifically for textile manufacturing.

Scaling innovation remains one of the industry’s greatest challenges, not only developing better materials, but bringing them to market in a way that is credible, efficient, and commercially viable.

This pilot facility is designed to close that gap.

It provides both Paradise Textiles and its partners with a real production environment to trial new fabrics, refine processes, and develop products under conditions that reflect where they will ultimately be manufactured.

Built with scale in mind from day one, the main production mill has been designed with the same machinery and technical capabilities. This means innovations developed during the pilot phase can move directly into scaled production without rework, delays, or duplicated approvals.

In practice, this means:

·      Faster progression from concept to commercialisation.

·      Greater consistency from pilot to production.

·      Technical expertise that carries through from day one.

·      A more credible pathway to scalable, lower-impact products.

Ultimately, the goal is to make innovation easier to scale, ensuring better solutions do not stop at the pilot stage.

The facility will also create approximately 1,200 new jobs over its first two years of operation and support some of the world’s leading activewear and sportswear brands supplying US and European markets.

We look forward to working closely with our partners to develop, test, and bring these solutions to market together.
