Alpine Group is proud to announce the delivery of 2,100 Dignity Kits to women and girls in Kenya this month through its ongoing Dignity Kit program in partnership with UK-based charity Freedom4Girls. Period poverty remains a significant issue, often forcing girls to miss school due to a lack of menstrual products. The kits, made from repurposed post-industrial textile waste, include reusable liners, shields, and snaps, all packaged in a waterproof wash bag with a menstrual calendar.
These sustainable kits, crafted by women for women, can last up to four years, providing long-term solutions to those in need. Alpine Group has already distributed over 150,000 kits across the Middle East and Africa and aims to reach 250,000 more women and girls by 2025, ensuring that no girl is held back by period poverty. This initiative is a core part of Alpine Group’s commitment to empowering women and creating positive, lasting impacts in communities worldwide.
