Alpine Group’s material science and innovation hub, Paradise Textiles and climate-tech company Matter. have been awarded double honors at the Just Style Excellence Awards 2025, which recognizes organizations driving innovation and sustainability in fashion and textiles.

The companies were awarded the coveted Innovation Award for Regen.® for Textile Production, the world’s first microfiber filtration system designed for textile manufacturing, and the Environmental Award for delivering a practical, scalable way to cut microfiber pollution at its source.

Paradise Textiles played a decisive and proactive role in the development of Regen.®

After recognising the need for breakthrough technology to tackle microfiber pollution in textile manufacturing, the team approached Matter to initiate the partnership. Paradise co-funded early R&D and contributed deep expertise in textile production and fiber-shedding mitigation to engineer the system for real factory conditions.It also co-created Matter’s Microfiber Assessment Program (MAP), which is setting new global standards for measuring and optimising microfiber capture.

The first Regen.® installation is scheduled to take place in the coming months at Paradise’s new low-impact mill in Egypt, a flagship showcase for the industry, demonstrating how proactive collaboration and innovation can transform textile manufacturing for good.
