We believe in the power of collaboration and building strategic partnerships. Over the years, we have have developed a global network with the finest yarn producers, knitting mills, dyeing & printing houses and chemical and material providers. Beyond our own industry, we look to partner with companies that have the same parallel vision of bringing innovative products to the market. Examples of this include partnering with pioneers such as 3M and Dupont, allowing us to constantly push the boundaries of what’s possible in textiles. Working with Paradise Textiles gives our customers access to the most cutting edge and smart textiles long before they reach the market.
The research, scientists, and engineers at Paradise Textiles collaborate to develop fashionable and fresh fabrics. The Paradise team attends many trade events to stay informed on the latest trends, tools and techniques in the industry. As participants of the lean methodology, we invest in training and continuously improve our processes. With this training, our team stays in the loop on the newest technologies and upcoming fads.
Today’s consumer understands the difference between good and great quality, which dictates future brand loyalty. In addition, in today’s fast paced environment, companies cannot afford to have delays as a result of fabric quality defects. Here’s how we overcome this challenge- Our team conducts thorough product testing in our in-house lab, where we have the latest machinery for CRE testing, ICI mace snag test as well as viewing cabinets for ASTM, GB and JIS. Rather than outsource product testing to another vendor, we have simplified the product development process by conducting testing in-house every step of the way. Additionally, our independent Q/Cs stationed at the dying mills keep a close watch on the fabric production before they are loaded in the containers to our factories. Thus, we are able to offer a complete garment solution to our clients.
By experimenting with natural and synthetic materials, Paradise Textiles continues to push the boundaries of fabric development. Explore our case studies to see how the Paradise Textiles creates innovative solutions for our clients and ultimately consumers’ needs.
DEFINE
Even after extensive care, consumers found that their workout clothes become permanently stained from sweat and body odor. Our client requested that Paradise Textiles create an effective stain resistant fabric that was easy to wash and comfortable to wear.
DESIGN
We partnered with a semi-conductor maker in Taiwan that was looking for a way to waterproof mother boards to see if this same technology could be used to protect fabrics. The results exceeded even our own expectations, and we were able to create completely stain proof fabrics- resistant to both waters and oils.
DELIVER
Unlike other water-resistant garments, our revolutionary process uses a plasma treatment to make not only water but oil resistance inherent in the yarn. The benefits of this technology are endless- ranging from eco-friendliness due to the lack of detergents and high-temperature washing needed to clean the fabrics to longer lasting garments due to water and oils barely being absorbed into the fibers.
DEFINE
A popular athletic wear brand was looking for an innovative product for their audience of loyal runners. Through consumer research, we discovered athletes were looking for reflective clothes designed specifically for late night or early morning running; however, they disliked the appearance of fluorescent fabric and the burden of wearing additional reflective accessories.
DESIGN
Our in-house fabric scientists constructed a stretchable garment with micro glass beads knitted into the fabric. The final product allowed for the same garment to display two different designs – one design with fluorescent properties for night time and another design for daytime wear. Most importantly, the reflective properties would never wear off like a reflective print.
DELIVER
Paradise Textiles’ team was able to create a product that was both fashionable and functional, while solving a problem for a client’s target consumer.
DEFINE
Cycling classes are trending in the fitness world and consumers are seeking fun glow in the dark active wear for the dim-light cycle studios. Paradise Textiles was commissioned to create a fashionable garment with glow in the dark materials for the avid cyclists.
DESIGN
We developed a fabric that would absorb natural light when exposed and then use that energy to glow in the dark for up to 6 hours.
DELIVER
The finished product was a tank top that was black in the light but transformed into an ombre of blue to green when in the dark. The glow-in–the dark prints and yarns keep consumers ahead of the fashion curve, while keeping them visible in low light.
